Castilgo Chaps Short
Half-length leather chaps for riders who want boot-level grip without the full leg coverage, in black. Built the same way as the Castilgo Long Chaps, just cropped to sit above the ankle.
The leather sits close to the calf and knee, giving a direct feel against the saddle rather than the bulkier layer a full boot adds. A side zip runs the height of the chaps, with a stretch panel built in at the top of the zip that adds a bit of give around the calf without loosening the overall fit. An elasticated hem at the bottom keeps the chaps in place over your boot rather than riding up mid-session. Like any leather product, these run tight to begin with and soften and stretch slightly with wear, so expect the fit to ease in over the first few rides. Sized across the same four fits as our long chaps, Extra Slim, Slim, Normal, and Wide, so you can match the chaps to your actual leg shape.
Built for everyday training and general riding.
Care Store in your tack room. Wipe down after use to remove dirt and sweat, and treat with leather care products as you would any other leather tack, to keep it supple over time.
